Download the Chip app and complete the (speedy) sign-up process
verification is super quick and efficient, and you don’t even need to upload ID documents (which makes a nice change)
(Important first step>) Once your account has been activated, within the app, head to:
Profile > Promos and Referrals > Enter a Code
Enter the code ‘CHIP-LXT397’
Entering the code will verify your account for the £10 promotion.
(Important next step>) You then need to top up your free Chip savings account with a minimum of £1 (you do not lose this cash!)
Keep this £1 in your Chip account for at least the next 30 days, and once this time has elapsed, the £10 cash will be added to your account.
Tip – you will probably want to have a hassle-free money experience, so it’s best to turn off one of Chip’s features; this is the AI savings feature. From the ‘Home’ tab, select ‘AI Saving’ and set the ‘Skip auto-saves to a far away custom date (beyond your 30 day wait period).
The £10 and your initial £1 can then be withdrawn back to your chosen bank account.
